Once lucky bingo player, whose identity has not been disclosed, won a massive prize of £270,000 while playing in the National Game at Carlton Bingo club.
The £2 ticket required her to achieve a full house within 44 numbers for the £20,000 prize. Each ticket also has a lucky star number that comes with an additional £250,000 prize should you bingo on it. Well, she did!
Manager of the bingo hall John Cowlishaw said the evening was exciting.
“It’s the biggest win in a lot of years, probably the biggest this club has paid out. The last big win was about six or seven years ago when someone won over £100,000.”
Player will receive her payment within the next few days.
